| Proof of Insurance Proof of insurance must be provided for every vehicle financed with the credit union. Where evidence of insurance is not provided, the credit union will add VSI Coverage automatically. If you obtain insurance on your own, please let us know. | Mechanical Breakdown Insurance This insurance will insure your car against mechanical breakdown expenses and is available from Oregon Pioneer FCU. New car coverage can be purchased at any time on vehicles that are still under original factory warranty, regardless of whether you are the 1st, 2nd or 3rd owner of the car. Used car coverage is written on cars that no longer have a factory warranty and this coverage can only be bought within 10 days of the purchase of the vehicle. This insurance is usually much less expensive than a comparable Extended Warranty or Service Contract offered by a dealership, and it can be transferred to a new owner if you sell your car. Anyone can purchase this insurance from Oregon Pioneer FCU, regardless of where or how you finance the purchase of your vehicle. |

| GAP (guaranteed auto protection) This coverage pays the diffence between an insurance settlement and your loan balance if your car is totalled or stolen. You may only purchase this coverage on vehicles financed at Oregon Pioneer FCU. Credit Life and Credit Disability Insurance Credit disability and credit life insurance is an optional program available on loans at the credit union.
